Research is focused on nutrient biogeochemistry in the root zone of submerged aquatic vegetation in the Lower St. John's River Estuary.

Alexander Cheesman, Phd, Advisor, K.R. Reddy

Ha RyUn Kim, Phd, Advisor, A. Ogram

Casey Schmidt, PhD, Advisor, Mark Clark
Research focused on the temporal dynamics of phosphorus transformation and exchange, between the soil and water column amongst the transient soils of riparian areas. The impacts of long-term nutrient enrichment, changing water column P concentrations and sedimentation on the effectiveness of these systems to retain phosphorus are being investigated.

Joe Sewards, MS, Advisor, Mark Clark
Research is focused on measuring the effects of clippings/debris on phosphous levels in constructed wetlands and how this might be better-managed.

Sam Vacca, MS, Advisor, K.R. Reddy
